Even today, robots are already supporting our lives in a wide variety of ways. They work in dangerous or inaccessible environments, or relieve human beings by taking over monotonous tasks.

The functional requirements of mobile robotic systems are considerably more demanding than those of conventional industrial robots. Mobile systems must operate autonomously in an unknown, changeable environment. They must be able to explore their present environment and model it appropriately. The information obtained then enables the robot to perform movements and actions in order to fulfil its task.

In collaboration with university scientists, the expert team at quapona® technologies is engaging with the following topics in robotics:

  • Developing applications for control via artificial neural networks (ANNs)
  • Developing robot hardware
