On 1 December, the European Commission invites you to Brussels for an event called ‘Horizon 2020 – Calls Info Day’ dedicated to the important topic ‘Smart World’.

This gives interested parties the opportunity to propose project ideas for Horizon 2020 in the following categories: smart cyber-physical systems (ICT 1), digital automation (FOF 11), smart anything everywhere initiative (ICT 4), ICT innovation for manufacturing SMEs 14MS (FOF 12) and photonics laser-based production (FoF 13).

Horizon 2020 is an EU funding programme that has been in existence since 2014, which aims to make a sustainable contribution to the development of a society and economy supported by innovation and science.
